(C) Noncellulosic neutral sugar content in the trifluoroacetic acid (TFA)-soluble wall fractions (mole percent of total wall neutral sugars). The error bars represent three measurements from each AIR or CWM sample. Significance was calculated using the Student’s t test. Asterisks indicate statistically significant differences (P <0.005** or P <0.05*).
