The AOX pathway capacities (A) and the NADP-MDH initial activities (B) in Rumex K-1 leaves treated with 0 (control), 0.2, 0.6 or 1 mM SHAM in the dark or in intense light. Leaf dics (0.5 cm²) were infiltrated with 0 (control), 0.2, 0.6 or 1 mM SHAM in the dark for 2 h and then exposed to intense light measuring 800 μmol m^-2 s^-1 for 30 minutes. Means ± SE of five replicates are presented. Different letters indicate significant difference between the treatments with various concentrations of SHAM at P < 0.05, the same as this in other figures.
