RS values of whole grain samples are expressed on a dry weight basis, whereas other values are ‘as is’. The expected values for the RS controls (as is) are in parentheses. Each value represents the mean with standard error of at least 3 biological replicates except for the purified starch from bread wheat with 2 biological replicates.
