Effect of redox and osmotic treatments on the expression of genes related to freezing tolerance at low temperature. The transcription of the genes CBF14 (A), COR14b (B) APSR (C), sAPX1 (D), CAB (E) and NCED1 (F), related to cold acclimation and antioxidant defence, was investigated in the crown. Gene expression is given as a relative value, based on the values in the control sample of Ch treated with no chemicals. The experimental conditions are described in the legend of Figure 1. The values indicated by different letters are significantly different at p < 0.05 level.
