Table 6 List of sequences containing the ERF/AP2 DNA-binding domain. The list of ERF/AP2 sequences used in the phylogenetic analysis (figure 4), some of the sequences were also used in the ClustalW alignment (figure 5). The first two letters in the protein name represent the initial letters of the Latin binomial, followed by the gene abbreviation. Each sequence is assigned to one of three different subgroups of the ERF/AP2 superfamily. A. sativa sequences are grouped according to our phylogenetic analysis (Figure 4). All GI accession numbers correspond to protein sequences in gene bank at NCBI [53], and the EMB accession numbers correspond to EST sequences available in the EMBL-nucleotide sequence database [58].
