Numbers in parentheses indicate days after transplanting (A). Asterisks on the right and the upper sides of bar indicate the significant differences of Cd contents in plant parts and the whole plant from the previous growth stage (P < 0.05), respectively. Arrows and values in blue indicate positive translocation rates (ng g dry wt-1 d-1), and in red indicate negative translocation rates (B). Data are presented as means ± SE (n = 5).
