Localization of GUS activity in transgenic Arabidopsis plants expressing the pEDS5H::GUS fusion construct. Seedlings, siliques or inflorescence parts of plants transformed with EDS5H::GUS constructs were stained with the substrate for GUS. The activity of a promoter of 2000 bp length is shown in a seedling (a), flowers (b), and a silique (c). The experiment was repeated 3 times with similar results
