Nineteen-days-old A. thaliana wildtype and spl7 knockout plants were exposed for 24 or 72 h to 2 μM CuSO4, 5 μM CdSO4 or grown under control conditions. The translocation factor (TF) of Cu (a) and Cd (b) were calculated as the percentage of the concentration in the leaves relative to the concentration in the roots. Data are given as the mean ± S.E. of 5 biological independent replicates.
