Malondialdehyde content in leaves. Two-week-old WT and transgenic Arabidopsis seedlings were treated with 200 mM NaCl for 7 days and then their leaves were harvested. Malondialdehyde content in the leaves was measured as described in the Methods section. Data are presented as mean ± SE of three replicates. Different letters above the columns indicate statistically significant differences at a p < 0.05 level among the different experimental cohorts.
