Impact of transient silence of PbrPG6 expression on PG activity and firmness of pear fruit. a Expression profile of PbrPG6 after transient silence of PbrPG6 expression. b Impact of transient silence of PbrPG6 expression on PG activity. c Impact of transient silence of PbrPG6 expression on cortex firmness. ‘Housui’ fruit were infiltrated with pTRV2:PbrPG6 & pTRV1, and then stored at 25 °C before analysis. The unconstructed pTRV2 vector, which was co-injected with pTRV1, was used as control. Data represented the mean ± SD of three biological replicates. The expression level of PbrPG6 in control fruit was set as 1.0. Vertical bars labeled with different small letters indicated significant difference between samples at p < 0.05 level using Duncan’s multiple range test
