Expression levels of SOD (a), APX (c) and CAT (e) were determined by qPCR and and the results are expressed as fold-change relative to well watered wild-type plants. The enzyme activity corresponding to these genes was also assayed (b, d and f). The contents in reduced and oxidized glutathione (GSH and GSSG) were also determined (g and h).
