  1. Resistance to leaf rust pathogen was determined at seedling stage. PCR marker Zyg_1Sh_1 was used to determine presence of Ae. sharonensis resistance segment, markers Zyg_1Sh_1 and Zyg_2G_2 determined zygosity of the plants. Expected values are 50% heterozygous, 25% homozygous resistant and 25% homozygous susceptible plants
