Expression levels (RT-qPCR) of the soybean-silenced transgenic line for the four WRKY genes. Expression levels of the four WRKY genes in a wild-type (wt) soybean plants and in a transgenic soybean line P3-2. F-Box protein and metalloprotease reference genes were used as internal controls to normalize the amount of mRNA present in each sample. Transcript levels of WRKY genes present in the wild type were used to calibrate transcript amounts in P3-2. *Means are significantly different in the wild type and P3-2 plants (Student's t-test, p < 0.05).
