Presented values are means of 64 or 128 biological replicates +/− standard error of the mean for each strain and the control, respectively. Each of the five clusters defined by the hierarchical clustering processing is presented in a different colour: cluster 1, (including the control) black; 2, green; 3, yellow; 4, blue; and 5, red. PC 1 is correlated mainly with the biomass production of the plantlets exposed to the bacterial volatile compounds, whereas PC2 is related to RSA modulation. The proportion of the total variance explained by the two first axes is 61.6 %
