The expression levels of the corresponding genes for each enzyme are color-scaled in which fragments per kilobase million (FPKM) values were divided by the maximum FPKM among the same enzyme-encoded genes. The four columns from left to right indicate orthologs from CF, A subgenome of F1, R subgenome of F1, and WK, respectively. Gray boxes indicate that there were no corresponding genes. Each enzyme was designated ‘up’ or ‘down’ when there were differentially expressed genes. The amounts of metabolites were autoscaled and are indicated in the color scale. The three boxes from left to right indicate the amount of metabolites for CF, F1, and WK, respectively
