Subcellular co-localization of OsSIP1/2-GFP (C-terminal fusion GFP), GFP-OsSIP1/2 (N-terminal fusion GFP) and free GFP with RFP-HDEL (ER Marker) and free RFP in N. benthamiana epidermis (A) or rice protoplasts (B), driven by the CaMV 35 S promoter. Fluorescence imaging was performed in a Leica SP8 confocal microscope, with a setting for GFP (Ex = 488 nm, Em = 505 to 535 nm), for chlorophyll auto-fluorescence (Ex = 633 nm, Em = 650 to 710 nm) and for RFP (Ex = 532 nm, Em = 550 to 600 nm).
